Collage & tackboard

The second one is the collage I was telling you about, the first is just a new tackboard arrangement. I just really like how the collage turned out. I was trying to do something fun and wild to go along with the quote and to remind myself to just let loose sometimes (haha as if).

Vesper Lynd makeup attempt

I should have made it smokier...oh well. I really don't want to fix it and go back outside and take more pics :P I got inspired to do it after watching Casino Royale last night with Eva Green as Vesper Lynd. I'd actually been told a few times that in my graduation pics I looked like her...so I was curious. I guess I kiiiiiiinda do, but sadly not really. Anyway...

makeup attempt among other things

Obviously I look nothing like Emma Watson...I was attemping to recreate her makeup look from her appearance at the Burberry (Spring RTW 2010 I think??) show a while ago.

Hair!!

So as I said earlier, I got my hair cut by Tenley Jank who was trained at some high-end salon in the States where they charged like 200 per cut and had people like Gweneth Paltrow in. She also did the hair styling for a Betsey Johnson runway show!! And, I LOVE my new hair cut. It probably won't look quite the same after I wash it but right now it's amazing.

Btw I think I got this sweater at that thrift store in the summer with you. It's by GAP? This is like the second time I've worn it and I only wore it cause everything else was in the wash, I've decided I actually like it now.

Other people's pictures

I really like what I was wearing this day. It was kind of crazy because of the bright blue top with the striped tank top underneath but the grey sweater toned it down and made it acceptable.
These pictures aren't the greatest as they weren't taken because of the clothes and were more creeper shots than anything else :)
I really hope i get my luggage back because those clothes are in it. Sigh
I love putting together different combinations to try and find out what looks nice.
I think clothes should be more experimental. People at Urbana mostly wore really normal-ish kinds of clothes so I really felt like I stuck out while wearing this.

My first post of the new Year

I regret that my posts have been so far apart and I will try to make my posting more regular.
Outside it is snowing and the temperature is still below zero which makes wearing certain things impossible but i like to try and find creative ways to wear skirts and unusual clothes no matter what the weather. Leggings over tights or wearing two pairs of tights is a good way to do this as it keeps you quite warm.
the following outfit may be slightly ridiculous but it is also quite warm. And in my defense I think the bulky belted sweater is balanced out by the short skirt, leggings and chunky socks.
Also, I don't understand why these pictures always fail to be really flattering.....sigh
