When I first saw Penelope I enjoyed the sweet whimsical story but I also enjoyed the beautiful sets and costumes. Penelope is under a curse which gibes her a pig nose which she can't break unless someone of high social class loves her for how she is. Her overbearing mother has kept her locked up in seclusion for her whole life and Penelope's clothes reflect this lack of contact with other people her own age: they are brightly coloured and imaginative and very unique.
Another attraction of this Movie is James Mcavoy, whose hair looks great in this movie.

Best onscreen kiss of the year Penelope was released. I found it weird they shot in London but all their accents were American. I mean, why did they have to change McAvoy's accent?
